Find-a-Fountain locates free drinking water near you. It allows users to upload fountains to expand our watery network around the world.
Our aim at Find-a-Fountain is quite simple. We want to reduce the environmental damage caused by disposable plastic bottles. We plan to achieve this in two ways:
1. Encourage everyone to drink more water from fountains (and taps) and less from disposable bottles.
2. Increase the number of free water sources around the world and make them easier to find.
Find-a-Fountain was established by Ohyo (the collapsabottle) and is supported by START (Making Sustainable Living Simple) and The Drinking Fountain Association (Est. 1859).
